CUT & CREATE comes to Life

One of our most loved ranges, one we all love working on most and one we wait in anticipation for the next new design is CUT & CREATE. Beleive it or not as we enter the May bank holiday weekend there is snow on the hills of the Dales here in Yorkshire. To acompany the snow we've started work on our new Christmas range of CUT & CREATE. Eight brand new characters will be coming your way. We thought we would share with you how the characters come to life from the initial sketches to the finished print ready artwork.

It all starts with a sketch from our collective ideas. 

 

Once the sketch is complete it is scanned into the computer where we start apllying the line work.

Once the line work is complete we start to apply the colour.

 

When we have completed the colour we then step and repeat the finished image onto a print ready file.

 

Thats how one of our most loved brands comes to life ready for you to create those wonderful cards we see everyday.

Honey Bunny

A Little Inspiration

Just a few ideas of what can be done with our new Fabulous Fashion range. It's on the press next week and we should have it in the shops early May. We hope you like it and please feel free to send in your pictures of what you create. Some of the tags and sentiments are from our new Sweet Sentiments range which will also launch in May.

 

 

 

Fabulous Fashion

Fabulous Fashion is a brand new range featuring four topper sheets and four coordinating background cards. They will be hitting the shops at the beggining of May. Beautifully designed, these toppers and backgrounds can be used to create real girly cards for many occasions.

 

Ellis & Co

Thank you to Heidi for making these lovely samples using our Ellis & Co collection and also some of our printed accetate which can be seen on one of the samples. You can see Heidi making more samples on Create and Craft on Sunday 10th April at 1.00pm. Also on the show will be one of our Paper Maker paper pads with 48 sheets of floral and polka dot patterned paper.

Sweet Sentiments

We've been in the craft and greetings card industry for many years now and we realize how important the words on a card a can mean sometimes more than the picture. So here at Craftstyle we have been designing some new sentiment sheets that will be available in our stockists and also in the kits we produce for Create and Craft. We'll keep you updated when they will be available but I've already been cutting the first samples out ready to place on some card samples. As always we welcome your feedback and comments.
